The Ventana Wildlife Society, known for bringing bald eagles and California condors back to the Central Coast, has received a $125,000 grant from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and Hearst Foundation Inc. The funding will support the nonprofit’s mission to protect native wildlife through science and education. The Hearst Foundations operate separately from KSBW’s parent company, Hearst.
