Charlie Cummings breaks down the opening odds for the 2026 WNBA championship after the Aces won the 2025 title.
The Las Vegas Aces convincingly won the 2025 WNBA championship. After struggling to a sub-.500 record halfway through the season, they went on a historic tear to close the regular season, and added yet another championship to their trophy case. Of course, A’ja Wilson was at the center of things.
Now it’s time to look forward to the 2026 WNBA championship odds. Here’s the field as things currently stand:

The Minnesota Lynx lead with +300 odds after putting together the best regular-season record in the WNBA this season. Napheesa Collier’s knee and a battle-hardened Phoenix Mercury team undid them, but they’ll be a force next season.
The last two champions are tied at +330 odds. Las Vegas, who just won up its third title in four seasons, has the second-best odds as it hopes to continue the dynasty. The New York Liberty, the only non-Vegas winner in the last four seasons, are also at +330. Indiana trails close behind, as the Fever will hope a healthy Caitlin Clark takes them far. Phoenix, fresh off its sweep at the hands of the Aces, have the fifth-best odds at +1000 before you get to the true long shots.
The champagne is popped. Confetti has fallen. Now it’s time to get hyped for next WNBA season.
