Cardi B enjoyed a fun night out to help raise awareness for sexual health.

The “Pretty & Petty” rapper, who turns 33 on Saturday, stepped out to attend MISTR’s National PrEP Day celebration at The Abbey in West Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 9.

Inside the nightclub, Cardi waved to fans while tossing cash to dancers spinning on poles stationed throughout the VIP section. She mingled with other stars, at one point eagerly taking a selfie with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes.

Dua Lipa performed onstage at the National PrEP Day event, which was also attended by Demi Lovato, Kim Petras, Matt Bomer, Cynthia Bailey, Tamar Braxton, Tom Daley, Diplo and more.

In support of the cause, Cardi — real name Belcalis Almánzar — says in a statement, “Sexual health should be easy and zero shame. That’s why I’m rocking with MISTR and SISTR! Even if you don’t have insurance, it’s free. Safe, smart and for the community.”

Thursday’s event marked the culmination of a 10-day national campaign to get 10,000 new people on PrEP by Friday, Oct. 10. PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a daily pill or twice-yearly injection proven to reduce HIV transmission by 99 percent.

Tristan Schukraft, founder and CEO of MISTR, tells PEOPLE, “We can end HIV. We have the tools. Being on PrEP is all about taking control of your own sexual health, just like the birth control pill was when it came out for women. By taking PrEP you’re actually doing your part to end the epidemic.”

In September, Cardi — who is currently expecting her fourth child — released her second studio album, Am I the Drama?

She is preparing to head out on tour in February, about one month after her due date. “We putting the kids to bed early because the Little Miss Drama Tour is coming to a city near you,” she teased on Instagram last month, revealing the lineup of tour stops.
