NASCAR Xfinity qualifying today: Jake Finch debuts at Dover Motor Speedway

DOVER, Del. – Jake Finch took the helm of the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet for the first time in his career at Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Easing and adapting his way through practice and qualifying, Finch earned the 21st position for the race scheduled for later on Saturday afternoon.

It’s a full day of racing and a busy one for the Xfinity Series at the one-mile concrete oval. The lower division will get a break while the Cup Series clocks laps in practice and qualifying at 1:30 and 2:45 p.m. before returning to the track for a 200-mile event slated for a 4:30 green flag.
