CLINTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – A 27-year-old East Lansing man faces nine criminal charges stemming from a series of break-ins in Bath Township on Saturday.
Bailey William Glazier faces seven felonies and two misdemeanors. Glazier was arrested on Saturday after being shot and injured by police, Michigan State Police announced Thursday evening.
Officials say Glazier was breaking into homes while carrying a knife near English Oak Drive and Nichols Road in Bath Township.
Body camera footage shows police confronting and chasing a knife-wielding suspect. The video shows the suspect taking a homeowner hostage before running and breaking into another home.
The suspect was shot after he ran from the second home and refused to drop his weapon, footage shows.
First responders provided on-site first aid before transporting the suspect to the hospital.

His bond was set at $1 million. Glazier is currently lodged in the Clinton County Jail with a probable cause conference on July 31 at 10 a.m.
