The Dallas Mavericks are throwing it back to the classic green jerseys for select games during the 2025-26 season.
DALLAS — As the Dallas Mavericks look to a hopeful future under No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg, they’re also giving fans and players a blast from the past.
The team announced Thursday that players will don the classic green Mavs jerseys for select games this season, paying homage to the franchise’s early days in the 1980s.
The throwback jerseys are part of a larger collection of apparel produced by Mitchell and Ness, celebrating the Mavericks’ 45th anniversary. Fans can get their hands on jerseys of current players and Mavs icons like including Sonju, Brad Davis, Derek Harper, Rolando Blackman and Mark Aguirre.

MFFLs won’t have to wait long to see the classic jerseys in person, either. The first throwback game is on Sunday, Oct. 26, against the Toronto Raptors. Ahead of tipoff, the Mavericks will host a pregame plaza party to celebrate the launch of the 45th anniversary collection.
In addition to the jerseys, the Mavs’ home court will also get a throwback look to celebrate.
