One person is dead and another is hospitalized after Cincinnati police say a shooting and stabbing call led to a police pursuit that ended in a crash.It happened Thursday afternoon when officers responded to a shooting and stabbing call in the 2400 block of Westwood Northern Boulevard. Police said they received two separate calls, one for a shooting and one for a stabbing. When officers arrived to the scene, they saw someone leaving the scene on a motorcycle.Officers tried to pull the motorcyclist over, but said the motorcyclist did not comply, leading police on a 20 minute police chase before saying he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed along Dalton Avenue near Union Terminal.The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 28-year-old Austin Hust. The victim from the shooting/stabbing call self-transported to Good Samaritan where they were then taken to University Hospital and are now in surgery. Officers have not released an update on the victim’s condition. Dalton Avenue was closed in both directions between Gest Street and Hopkins Street for approximately four hours. It happened Thursday afternoon when officers responded to a shooting and stabbing call in the 2400 block of Westwood Northern Boulevard. Police said they received two separate calls, one for a shooting and one for a stabbing.

When officers arrived to the scene, they saw someone leaving the scene on a motorcycle.

Officers tried to pull the motorcyclist over, but said the motorcyclist did not comply, leading police on a 20 minute police chase before saying he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed along Dalton Avenue near Union Terminal.
