Undrafted forward Julian Reese signed with the club on Friday, the Raptors announced.
It is an exhibit 10 deal, meaning Reese will likely spend time with the G League’s Raptors 905, Sportsnet’s Michael Grange reported.
Reese, 22, spent four years at the University of Maryland, averaging 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 26.4 minutes across 134 games.
The six-foot-nine, 210-pound Baltimore native ranks second on the Terrapins’ all-time rebounds list and was an all-conference honourable mention last season.
Toronto’s move comes one day after it cut five players, including former second-round pick Ulrich Chomche and Canadian A.J. Lawson.
After Friday’s pre-season finale against the Brooklyn Nets, they open the 2025-26 season Wednesday with a visit to the Atlanta Hawks. Live coverage on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
