The Six Kings Slam has returned to Riyadh this week, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz ensuring a repeat of last year’s final.
Sinner beat Alcaraz in the final of the 2024 Six Kings Slam, earning himself the trophy and $6million in prize money.
They met in three of the four Grand Slam finals this season, two of which were won by the Spaniard, while the Italian beat Alexander Zverev in the fourth.
The pair have now reached another final, with Sinner having beaten Novak Djokovic and Alcaraz having overcome Taylor Fritz to set up their rematch in Riyadh.
Earlier in the tournament, which is not affiliated with the ATP Tour, Fritz knocked out Alexander Zverev and Sinner defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Six Kings Slam has now been discussed on the Nothing Major Show, where former players John Isner and Jack Sock picked their dream lineup for the tournament.
Sock said: “I had Roger [Federer], Rafa [Nadal]. I’m going to put Novak in there as well. Then I had [Pete] Sampras and Andre [Agassi].
“And then rounding it out with the human highlight reel of Alcaraz as well. You need the entertainment value plus some rivalries, and then the greats.”
And Isner commented: “I’m throwing Sampras in there. Roger, Rafa, Novak, Pete, Alcaraz, give me Jimmy Connors. 109 titles.”
Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson name their ultimate Six Kings Slam field
Also sharing their ideal fields at the tournament were former professionals Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson, with two players earning byes into the semifinals.
Querrey said: “My seeds are Federer one seed, Nadal two seed. And then I’m rounding those guys out with Novak Djokovic, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi and Carlos Alcaraz.
“That’s my field of six, that’s what I’m going with. You’ve got to put a young Carlos in there. Mac, Andre, who doesn’t want to watch them?
“Fed, Nadal, just the classic, maybe the best rivalry the game’s ever seen. So that’s my six if I can do any players of all time.”

And Johnson noted: “I’m going to go with just three rivalries I’d like to see again. I want to go with Rafa and Roger.
“Then I’d like to go with [Bjorn] Borg, McEnroe. And then I’d like to go Agassi, Sampras. Three iconic rivalries all in one tournament.
“I mean, I’d probably give Roger and Rafa the byes, because I likely see them clipping the other two guys in the semis to then play a final.
“But I’d like to see Agassi vs Sampras play a first round to play Rafa, and then Borg vs McEnroe to play Rog and so on.”
Which WTA players would make a potential female Six Kings Slam equivalent?
The Six Kings Slam currently involves only male players, but it would be intriguing to see which WTA players would get the call-up to a potential event.
Star sisters Serena Williams and Venus Williams would likely need to be involved, along with their fellow legends Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf and Chris Evert.
But the likes of Martina Hingis and Billie Jean King would arguably also like a call-up, while current stars Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek could be angered if they missed out.
