Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez avoided a run-in at the Academy Museum Gala 2025 after reigniting their long-standing feud.

The Rhode founder enjoyed a girls’ night out with her best friend Kendall Jenner at the A-list event in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Biber, 28, looked chic, donning an espresso brown corset gown, while the “Kardashians” star, 29, sported a black sleeveless dress.

Meanwhile, Gomez, 33, and her husband, Benny Blanco, made their first appearance as a married couple on the carpet.

The “Only Murders in the Building” star sported a black strapless dress with a blazer draped over her shoulders.

Blanco, 37, matched his wife’s attire with a black suit and a silk striped shirt.

The couple, who tied the knot in September, lovingly held hands as they posed for photographers.

Gomez and Bieber, 28, walked the carpet at separate times, after the latter appeared to have shaded the actress while chatting with the Wall Street Journal in an interview published on Oct. 14.

During the interview, the Rhode Skin founder was asked how she feels about the competition with her beauty products now being sold at Sephora, alongside other brands, including Gomez’s Rare Beauty brand.

“I think there is space for everybody,” Bieber told the outlet.

While the model didn’t mention Rare Beauty in particular, she added, “I don’t feel competitive with people that I’m not inspired by.”

The businesswoman also commented on shoppers comparing the brands, saying, “It’s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn’t ask for that.

“When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that.”

A spokesperson for Hailey, who married Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber in 2018, told Page Six that her comments weren’t directly “about Selena Gomez.”

Gomez later commented on Hailey’s remarks via her Instagram Stories, writing, “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants.

“Doesn’t affect my life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.”

For years, the “Calm Down” singer and Hailey have been pitted against each other despite their efforts to prove they were amicable.
