Supermodel Linda Evangelista is having a Roman holiday this summer. The stunning ’80s and ’90s icon, who famously coined the phrase “We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day,” shared photos from her Italian getaway — including rare snaps of her 18-year-old son, Augustin James, whom she shares with Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault. The famous beauty seems to have put past health struggles behind her as she enjoys her summer abroad.

Evangelista has been candid about her medical history, including two breast cancer diagnoses — the first in 2018 and the second in 2022. After undergoing a bilateral mastectomy, additional surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, the Canadian model told the Wall Street Journal in 2023 that her prognosis is “good.”

In 2022, Evangelista also spoke publicly about a five-year hiatus from the spotlight, during which she says CoolSculpting — an FDA-approved fat-freezing procedure — left her “permanently deformed” and “brutally disfigured.” In July 2022, she revealed on Instagram that she had settled with the parent company behind CoolSculpting.

Fans quickly filled the comments section, with one referring to Evangelista as the “mother of all models” and praising her enduring beauty.
