The new Raising Cane’s in Chinatown is officially opening its doors to customers at 10 am on Tuesday, October 21.
The location is at 722 7th St. NW, steps from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stop, and a block down from Capital One Arena, where the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards play their home games. The Capitals play the Seattle Kraken later that night.
The restaurant has been putting the finishing the final touches on its look and its opening day schedule.

The first event scheduled is a ribbon cutting.
Per a Raising Cane’s press release, a ribbon cutting ceremony with Destination DC beginning at approximately 8:45 a.m.
There are giveaways if you come early.
Customers are invited to secure a place in line as the party will start early with an array of giveaways.
A “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 Customers (age 13 and older) Free Cane’s for a Year! Entries are accepted from 8 to 9 am., with the drawing held shortly after. Customers must be present to win.
The first 100 dine-in Combos purchased will receive a commemorative hat and a free Box Combo Card, valid on a future visit. Limit one hat and card per Combo purchased—while supplies last.
Customer No. 1 in line receives major Cane’s kudos with a big welcome greeting from all of the Crew and a one-of-a-kind gift basket.
There will be entertainment and special appearances throughout the day.
There will be performances by the Girls Global Academy cheer squad and the D.C. United Mascot, Talon.
An appearance and meet and greet with Georgetown mascot Jack the Bulldog from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
A check presentation to the D.C. United Foundation, which aims to provide local youth the tools necessary to soar on and off the pitch, while also seeking to level the playing field for Communities by harnessing the power of sport.
