One person was trapped under a vehicle, and two others were injured after a car crashed into a home during a pursuit, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. The Sacramento Police Department said it responded to a report of a stolen vehicle around 5 p.m. Around 45 minutes later, officers found the vehicle, and it was occupied.Officials said the suspect drove off, leading officers on a pursuit. It then crashed into a residence in the 7300 block of Circle Parkway.Sacramento Fire said the person who had been trapped under the vehicle was alert and talking when they were taken to an area hospital. Two others who were inside the home were also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. One neighbor expressed concerns about the risks posed by the pursuit.”The children in the neighborhood and people around here are put at risk because poor judgment of the police officers,” said neighbor Leroy Adams.Officials said the suspect was detained. The Sacramento Police Department said it responded to a report of a stolen vehicle around 5 p.m. Around 45 minutes later, officers found the vehicle, and it was occupied.

Officials said the suspect drove off, leading officers on a pursuit. It then crashed into a residence in the 7300 block of Circle Parkway.

Sacramento Fire said the person who had been trapped under the vehicle was alert and talking when they were taken to an area hospital. Two others who were inside the home were also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
