A number of Los Angeles Dodgers fans announced their dissatisfaction in seeing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, score primo seats during Game 4 of Major League Baseball’s World Series championship.
Social media buzzed with comments from unhappy fans of the team, which is currently in the World Series. They expressed displeasure that the couple was given preferential treatment ahead of sports legends who they felt were more deserving.

The 2025 World Series is becoming a who’s who in the stands for the Dodgers’ home games. However, not all notables are being celebrated. Some Dodger fans expressed their disgust at Meghan and Harry’s seating arrangement, according to RadarOnline.com. The royals scored seats in front of baseball great Sandy Koufax, former Dodger from 1955 to 1966, and NBA Lakers legend Magic Johnson. One unhappy fan wrote, “Magic Johnson is royalty.” Now a billionaire, Magic is part-owner of the Dodgers, as well as the Lakers and the NFL’s Washington Commanders. Other social media comments reflected the same tone, saying, “Prince Harry and his wife sitting IN FRONT of Sandy Koufax? Un-fn-real. #WorldSeries #Dodgers” and “Why the hell are they in front of Sandy?” Another simply stated, “They need to leave.”
MLB posted a clip on TikTok of the couple in matching white shirts and blue Dodger baseball caps before the game began. In it, Meghan and Harry were surrounded by their security team heading to their VIP seats.
However, some royal fans expressed happiness that Harry and Meghan made it to the game. The article reported one fan saying their appearance provided “the Royal seal of approval” while others posted, “Love seeing global icons reppin’ LA!” and “Dodgers uniting the world one hat at a time.”
Many other celebrities attended the October 28 championship at Dodger Stadium, which is being televised by Fox TV. Among the 60,000 attendees were Brad Pitt, Jason Bateman, Rob Lowe, Drake, Chris Pine, Donald Glover and Justin and Hailey Bieber.
After Wednesday night’s game, the Toronto Blue Jays lead the series, 3-2. Game 6 will be played on Halloween in Toronto.
