Nina Dobrev just proved once again that no one does Halloween quite like her.

The Vampire Diaries alum set social media on fire with her chilling new costume inspired by Child’s Play icons Tiffany Valentine and Chucky. Dobrev teamed up with friend and creative partner Erica Barstein, who completed the duo as Chucky, for a look that had fans both terrified and obsessed.

Posting a carousel of photos on Instagram on Oct. 31, Dobrev captioned the post simply, “happy halloween.” The slideshow featured the two friends fully in character, from Dobrev’s platinum-blonde wig, black lipstick, and heart-and-dagger “Chucky” tattoo to Barstein’s stitched-face makeup and blood-splattered overalls.

Fans Lose It Over Nina’s Halloween Look

Fans immediately filled the comments section with praise. One user wrote, “I’M SCREAMING!!!! Dobrev does it again,” while another declared, “And best Halloween costume award goes to…” Others echoed the sentiment, calling her “Queen of Halloween” and “OMG girl.”

Even fellow celebrities couldn’t help but join in, as Arielle Vandenberg commented, “BRO,” summing up what most fans were thinking.

The post also included behind-the-scenes moments of the two friends getting ready, giving fans a glimpse of Dobrev’s signature playful energy. The final slide showed her relaxing in a red velvet booth next to a Chucky doll — a photo fans quickly called “iconic.”

Dobrev is known for going all-in on Halloween. In previous years, she’s dressed as characters from Squid Game and The Queen’s Gambit, earning her reputation as one of the season’s most creative costume queens. This year’s costume only solidified it.

As one fan perfectly summed it up, “Nina Dobrev wins Halloween. Again.”
