Kourtney Kardashian slammed for ‘out of touch’ and ‘tone deaf’ comment about work

KOURTNEY Kardashian has fans fuming over her “tone deaf” remark about how often she works on the latest episode of The Kardashians.

The model appeared on Wednesday’s installment of her family’s reality series on Hulu, and viewers weren’t pleased with her attitude.

At one point in the episode, Kourtney, 46, gave a behind-the-scenes look at her busy day, which included shooting a video with her stepdaughter, Alabama, and a photoshoot for her new Lemme campaign.

In a confessional interview, the mom of four made it clear that her daily schedule wasn’t usually this packed, as she typically limits her work hours.

Kourtney got so candid that she revealed she tries only to work once a month, which sparked a slew of backlash online.

“I usually try to work once a week at the most, if that. Or once a month,” the mom of four said, smirking at the camera.

Fans were livid over Kourtney admitting that she puts in very few hours of work each month, given her multi-million-dollar fortune and lavish lifestyle.

“Everybody does lol Not everybody can,” one Reddit user wrote in a thread.

“Must be nice to not have to work more than once a month?” said another.

“I mean I would love to work once a month too if I didn’t need the money!” they added.

“Kourtney has always been extremely tone deaf, dumb, and annoying,” a fourth reacted.

“This is so out of touch, like i would love to work once a month but I need the money!” echoed a fifth.

Kourtney has repeatedly been criticized for her work ethic, largely by her sisters, as she has distanced herself from her famous family in recent years.

Her siblings, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, have voiced their frustrations with the Poosh founder for reducing her filming for the show, leaving them to pick up the slack.

She’s also raised eyebrows with her changed appearance and behavior since linking with Blink-182 rocker husband, Travis Barker.

The couple welcomed their first child, Rocky, in November 2023, adding to their blended family, which includes her three children with her ex, Scott Disick, and his three kids with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.

Also, during the episode, Kourtney gushed about taking on the role of stepmom to Travis’s kids.

“With the older kids, I try to be there for them as a friend and I try to be there in a motherly way as much or as little as they are wanting,” the TV star said.

“I don’t wanna be overbearing, but I love being there for them — to give them advice when they ask me or spend time with them when they want to. Just in any way that I can.”

Travis’s children have also shared how much they adore the eldest Kar-Jenner sibling and how she’s been a “beautiful” addition to their family.

“Even if you don’t feel good or had a hard day, you always put your family first,” Alabama wrote in a celebratory birthday post for Kourtney in April.

“You have such a beautiful aura, I wouldn’t want another step mom.”
