Neyland Stadium is at the middle of the college football landscape on Saturday night, with No. 18 Oklahoma visiting No. 14 Tennessee in a de facto College Football Playoff elimination game.
Both touting 6-2 records, the Sooners are coming off a home loss to Ole Miss. Former Oklahoma quarterback Josh Heupel’s Tennessee team picked up a 56-34 win after a blowout loss at Alabama.

Linebacker Arion Carter is a game-time decision for No. 14 Tennessee for Saturday night’s game against Oklahoma on the SEC pregame Injury Report. The Vols (6-2, 3-2 SEC) and the Sooners (6-2, 2-2) on Saturday night are scheduled for a 7:30 Eastern Time start on ABC at Neyland Stadium.
Carter had been listed as questionable on the first three injury report updates this week.
Jermod McCoy, Rickey Gibson and freshman receiver Travis Smith are the only other names on the report.
Oklahoma starting linebacker Kobie McKinzie was probable Thursday before being downgraded to questionable Friday. He’s a game-time decision.
