Dominik Szoboszlai excelled yet again as Liverpool won 2-0 at home to Aston Villa, with Ibrahima Konate producing some impressive statistics.
The Reds secured a vital three points at Anfield on Saturday evening, thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Ryan Gravenberch.

Szoboszlai (8.48) has been Liverpool’s most consistent player this season and he stood out from the rest against Villa.
Ian Doyle of the Echo said the Hungarian “led the press well” and was “integral” to the Reds’ attacking play at Anfield.
GOAL’s Calum Preston Kelly described it as another “standout performance by the Hungarian,” adding that he was Liverpool’s “chief creator.”
It was also a successful return to the team for Gravenberch (7.73), who was “typically tidy” in possession, according to This Is Anfield‘s Henry Jackson.
What the stats say

By FotMob’s metrics, Gravenberch was Liverpool’s standout player with rating of 8.5 out of 10.
The Dutchman not only scored the Reds’ second goal of the night, but he also enjoyed a 90 percent pass completion rate and made the most interceptions (4).
It was also a much-improved night for Salah who was Liverpool’s second-best player in a statistical sense, winning the joint-most duels (7) alongside Cody Gakpo.
Meanwhile, Konate enjoyed a far better performance, highlighted by him making the most defensive contributions and clearances (11 apiece).
