Warren Beatty is “living like a recluse” and avoiding his longtime friends and colleagues, a source tells the National Enquirer.
The Hollywood legend, 88, “has slowed down,” says the source, and “hates socializing. He’d rather stay home and do his own thing or hang out with his kids.”
His wife, Annette Bening, 67, has been left to “do her own thing,” adds the source, noting that she’s still hoping to win an Oscar and is about to begin filming a new movie with George Clooney.

The Nyad star is “also a very active member of the Hollywood community, doing philanthropy, pushing her own projects and getting coffee with friends she’s had for 25 years.”
“Friends say they’re like ships in the night these days and are barely ever together,” the source continues of the pair, who have been wed since 1992 and share four children.
The hope, adds the source, is that the Bugsy costars “make another classic film together where they’re playing a couple, because there was always a spark between them onscreen.”
