CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Guardians announced several moves Thursday, parting ways with a handful of veteran pitchers and returning a trio of injured players to the club’s 40-man major league roster.

Notably, Cleveland declined its $6 million club option on veteran pitcher John Means for 2026, making him a free agent.
