Denise Richards has been granted a permanent restraining order from her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, amid their contentious divorce.
After an emotional day in court, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Phypers to stay at least 100 yards away from Richards and her place of work until Nov. 7, 2030.
Per the judge, he has also been barred from contacting her in any manner, per Us Weekly.
Outside of the courthouse, Phypers, 53, reacted to the judge’s verdict, telling Entertainment Tonight he “wished it was the other way.”

The former Quantum360 owner also expressed that he was not worried about how the ruling would affect his upcoming spousal support hearing, which is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026.
“I know the truth. This may be hidden for a minute,” he continued to the outlet after the hearing. “We’re going to reset a little bit, but that’s okay.”
As for his next steps, Phypers said he’s looking forward to going home and taking “a break” while he gets “ready for the next show.”
Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards, 54, in July after nearly seven years of marriage.
The “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” star brought the exes back to court in October, as she sought to extend her temporary restraining order against Phypers.
In harrowing testimony, Richards claimed Phypers became violent with her on multiple occasions, telling the court that her husband had given her “at least three concussions” during their relationship.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum alleged that Phypers “slammed [her] up against the concrete wall and [her] head hit it,” in one alleged incident that occurred sometime between March to May 2022.

Phypers — who previously accused Richards of abusing painkillers and alcohol, which she has denied — responded to Richards’ allegations in court, telling his attorney it’s safe to say his ex “bruises easily.”
He also testified that he had no recollection of her getting a black eye. Though, he acknowledged that her eye looked “bruised” around Jan. 17, 2022, when Richards claimed the alleged physical incident took place.
“She would bruise her arms, all sorts of stuff. She’d bruise herself while cooking… falling down,” he testified, adding that he witnessed Richards getting injured “often.”

At a court hearing later that same month, Phypers was arrested for spousal abuse.
He was charged with two felony counts of injuring a spouse and two felony counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat.
The reality star was first granted a temporary restraining order against her ex on July 16 after claiming Phypers once gave her a black eye during an argument.
At the time of the temporary restraining order, a source close to Phypers denied Richards’ abuse allegations to Daily Mail, claiming Richards gave herself the injury while drinking.
