Charlie Cummings gives his top DraftKings WNBA Pick6 plays and projections for the five-game WNBA slate on Tuesday, July 22.

WNBA action on Tuesday will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. We have a five-game slate, starting with the Sparks taking on the Mystics. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top WNBA Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage ready, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA Pick6 slate.

Brittney Sykes More Than 15.5 Points

Brittney Sykes was nearly snubbed in the WNBA All-Star game. Thankfully for her, injury replacements arrived to save the day and right the wrong. Now she’s got a playoff push to worry about, and Sykes will be motivated.

In her last game against these same Sparks, Sykes recorded just eight points on 2-of-7 shooting. Against this terrible Los Angeles defense, I doubt she can be contained for two games in a row. Count on Sykes and the Mystics to get their lick back in this game.

Arike Ogunbowale Less Than 14.5 Points

I’ll give some credit to Arike Ogunbowale. Playing through a torn thumb ligament when your team is circling the drain is admirable and takes some guts. But it’s not going well. After missing a few games, Ogunbowale has returned to the fold for their past two games. She’s scored 11 total points on 3-of-22 shooting.

I hate to pick on a player for trying to muscle through a very detrimental injury. But if she’s going to be in the lineup, the shots won’t be falling. Make sure to include her in your WNBA Pick6 groups as often as possible.

Kelsey Mitchell More Than 18.5 Points

Caitlin Clark won’t be playing for the Indiana Fever on Tuesday. And that plays right into Kelsey Mitchell’s hand, as far as scoring is concerned. As Clark battles injuries, Indiana’s All-Star continues to cook.

Over her past ten games, Mitchell is putting up 21.4 PPG on 52.5% shooting, with a scorching 47.6% three-point mark. This Liberty team will be a stiff test, but Mitchell has shown that she is up to the task. In their last game before the All-Star break, Mitchell put up 16 points on a tidy 5-of-11 shooting. Any significant volume increase should net her 20, even if the result isn’t in the Fever’s favor.

Kayla McBride More Than 2.5 Threes

The Minnesota Lynx have returned to their quest for a WNBA championship. Kayla McBride, and specifically her shooting, is going to be a major part of that quest.

Minnesota’s former All-Star has been getting them up at an astounding rate over the last four games. The 33-year-old is taking 8.8 three-point attempts over that time period. The problem is they haven’t been going in; she’s hitting 31.4% of those looks. But that still adds up to 2.8 makes per game. Against a Chicago team playing without its top perimeter defender in Ariel Atkins, she should feast from behind the arc.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.

How to Play

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set for WNBA Pick6 by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.

Enter an Amount

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
