1 taken to hospital after assault at Myrtle Beach apartment complex

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — An investigation is underway after an assault took place at an apartment complex in Myrtle Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Myrtle Beach Police officers responded to Greens Boulevard in the Quail Marsh apartment complex in reference to an assault around 4:06 p.m.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department (MBPD), one person was taken to a local hospital for their injuries.

One person has been detained.

MBPD said there will be an increase in law enforcement presence in the area as the investigation continues.
