Thursday’s taping of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was postponed and replaced with an Oct. 28 rerun, reports say.
LOS ANGELES — The Thursday, Nov. 6 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was postponed due to a “personal matter” with the host, reports say.Â
Deadline first reported the postponed episode, but had no additional information.Â
Madison Beer, who was slated to be the musical guest, wrote in a now expired post explaining to fans why she wouldn’t be seen performing.Â
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jimmy Kimmel Live needed to reschedule my performance that was originally set to air tonight to a later date,” she wrote. “I’ll share more details on timing when I can, I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
Thursday’s episode was meant to feature “Stranger Things” star and musician Joe Keery and “Malice” and “The X Files” star David Duchovny before being postponed, according to People.Â
A rerun of “Jimmy Kimmel Live’s” Oct. 28 episode took Thursday night’s time slot.
ABC and Kimmel have not announced when the postponed episode will be filmed and eventually air, but Deadline reported attendees for the Nov. 6 showing would get tickets for a future taping at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, California.Â
There are episodes planned for the week of Nov. 10, with all but Friday, Nov. 14 being planned with guests, according to ABC’s scheduling website. Guests include George Clooney, Mike Tyson, Eddie Murphy, Jason Bateman and Mr. T among others. Plans and guests are subject to change.Â
No other information is known at this time. Kimmel and ABC have not yet publicly commented about Thursday’s postponed episode.Â
