TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU)– ATLAS Space Operations, a leader in Ground Software as a Service for satellite communications, announced that York Space Systems’ parent company has agreed to acquire ATLAS.
ATLAS said this acquisition marks a significant milestone and a successful exit for its investors and founders.

ATLAS will continue to operate independently under its existing brand as a ‘wholly owned subsidiary within the parent’s family of companies.’
It will remain based in Traverse City, focusing on growing local jobs and expanding its pioneering satellite ground communications solutions.

The acquisition of ATLAS is pending FCC approval and other customary closing conditions.
