A’ja Wilson confessed to the stressful parenting she had to do when her parents were living with her. The Las Vegas Aces star appeared as a guest on Jason Kelce‘s wife’s podcast “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” on Thursday.

During one segment of the episode, Wilson talked about the changes in her home when her parents visited her.

“I am not gonna lie, parenting your parents is stressful,” she said. “My parents stayed at my house from mid-July all the way to the parade, and when I tell you it drove me insane. I love them. They are recently retired, and they have been retired for about a year.”

“But it’s so stressful and hard… It’s confusing to me because I’m just like, ‘Why are we acting like children?'”

Later, the Aces star recalled an incident where her parents used their smartphones at full volume. Kylie started the topic, as she revealed that her father scrolled through TikTok at max volume. A’ja Wilson resonated with the incident and revealed that she would be in her room and would hear her father using TikTok from the kitchen.

She said that her parents lived in South Carolina, which is roughly three hours ahead of Vegas due to different time zones. So she finds it hilarious when she hears her parents laugh at 5:00 a.m. while using their phones.

A’ja Wilson enters the GOAT conversation after historic run with the Aces

The 2025 WNBA season is a monumental milestone in A’ja Wilson’s career. She broke several records during the entire season and finished it with some major accolades that make her a contender for the honor of WNBA’s greatest player of all time.

Wilson finished the season with her fourth MVP award, the most MVP wins by a player in the league’s history, and led the Aces to their third championship in five years. She averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 blocks per game on 50.5% shooting from the field.

She also won the Defensive Player of the Year award, making her the first woman in WNBA history to win both a DPOY and MVP in the same season. Over the years, legends like Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes, Cynthia Cooper, and others have been considered frontrunners in the GOAT conversation.

However, with A’ja Wilson’s current form and stellar recent achievements, the Aces star is making a compelling case for being the greatest player of all time when her career comes to an end.
