ROCKFORD, Ill. — Local women in business were honored at an annual conference highlighting their achievements.
The Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) announced the 2025 Women-in-Business Award recipients for its annual Pow(H)er Conference. The event is said to recognize women in business who show professional excellence, leadership, and service around the Rockford Region.
Caitlin Pusateri, COO of the GRCC, said that this year’s honorees are creating meaningful change in their organizations and in the area.
“This year’s honorees demonstrate the incredible range of talent, vision, and resilience that drives our business community forward,” said Pusateri.
The four recipients of the 2025 Women-in-Business Award are listed below.
Paige Limberg, an attorney at AGHL Law, was recognized for her achievement at a young age and potential for future leadership.
Julie Rylatt, a social worker at Willow Creek Counseling, was chosen for her entrepreneurship and contributions to Rockford’s business sphere.
Dr. Patricia Lynott, the President of Rockford University, was honored as a leader, mentor, and for her organizational impact.
Sherry Gaumond, the COO and Director of Interior Design at Larson & Darby Group, was acknowledged for her commitment to improving the community.
This year’s Pow(H)er Conference was held on Thursday at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront.
