EXCLUSIVE: Talent agent Emily Gimbel has joined Prototype.
Gimbel joins Prototype following her run at Buchwald, where she began in 2019 as an assistant in the talent department before being promoted directly to agent.
Gimbel has represented clients including Mikaela Hoover (Beef, Superman), Kingston Rumi Southwick (Presumed Innocent, Obsession), Abigail Pniowsky (American Baby, Me, Arrival), and stand-up comedian Abby Govindan. She will be based out of Prototype’s Los Angeles office.
“Emily is someone who has been highly recommended for years and someone I’ve had the benefit of getting to know the past several years,” says Brian Wittenstein, founder of Prototype, “She is known as an extremely hard worker with no off switch and that’s the exact type of energy and drive we look for over here at Prototype.”
“Brian and the team at Prototype are extremely passionate about their clients and the continued growth of their business. I’m excited to join a forward-thinking company that truly puts their clients first and focuses on supporting artists at every level,” Gimbel said.
Gimbel is a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College.
Prototype Talent Agency will soon celebrate its third anniversary, having been founded in December 2022.
