BEND, Ore. – (KTVZ) — A La Pine woman tied to the La Pine Middle School Volleyball Program was arrested and accused of sexual abuse.

Sierra Stigall was arrested and is facing several charges, including sexual assault, rape, and luring a minor.

According to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, the 22-year-old was being investigated following allegations that were brought to their attention earlier this year.

KTVZ News has learned Stigall was a former employee of the Bend-La Pine School District, where she was an assistant volleyball coach at La Pine Middle School.

The Sheriff’s Office told KTVZ News, “The current charges involve a minor but are not related to any of the coaching Stigall was involved in.”

We have reached out to the school district for comment concerning Stigall’s arrest. As of Saturday evening, the district tells us they will provide any information if available.

We will continue to follow this breaking story and bring you urgent updates online and on the KTVZ app.
