The Los Angeles Dodgers wouldn’t have repeated as World Series champion if not for Miguel Rojas.

But the most improbable home run of Rojas’ life set the Dodgers up to win Game 7 a few innings later, in extras.

If things go one way, that could be the last game Rojas played with the Dodgers. He’s a free agent now.

But there’s obviously also a compelling case for the Dodgers to bring him back, especially after that moment.

MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand sees Rojas as a logical guy for the Dodgers to re-sign.

“Rojas has been an important clubhouse veteran for the Dodgers – oh, and he hit one of the biggest home runs of 2025, too,” Feinsand writes. “The veteran infielder wants to return to Los Angeles, and it would be no surprise for the Dodgers to bring him back after what we saw in October.”

Rojas has been valuable throughout his MLB career because he can play all over the field.

He isn’t likely to go out and slug a lot more home runs. But he hit that big one, and that could matter.

Dodgers fans will always be fond of Rojas for his big moment.

They’d enjoy it if Rojas stays in town. And he likely won’t cost all that much to keep around in a new deal, which Feinsand sees as a real possibility.
