The Hershey Bears debuted their newest alternate sweater, the Screaming Bear jersey, in their home game against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Sunday afternoon.
The cream-colored jerseys feature a roaring bear on the crest, inspired by the Capitals’ Screaming Eagle logo, along with a chocolate-colored diagonal stripe at the waist that reads BEARS. Each shoulder also features a Bears alternate logo design paying homage to the Caps’ Capitol dome logo.
The jerseys honor the Bears’ affiliation with the Capitals, which reached 20 years in October.

The Bears wore the jerseys, along with their brown helmets and hockey pants, completing the look with cream-colored socks that featured one brown stripe and two white stripes. The typeface used for the numbers and names is the same one used in the Capitals vintage Screaming Eagle designs.

The Bears will wear the jerseys three more times this season: December 12, 2025, January 3, 2026, and March 15, 2026. The team will also be giving away a dual John Carlson bobblehead at the December 12 game, featuring the Capitals’ Stanley Cup and Calder Cup-winning defenseman in both Caps and Bears jerseys.
