RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys arrived at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on Tuesday for the preview party of the duo’s latest exhibit.
The two walked the red carpet at the VMFA in celebration of the exhibit’s upcoming opening.
“Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” features more than 130 works of art by 40 Black artists from Africa, Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean. It will also include the couple’s photos, musical equipment and bikes.
“Among the artists featured are Derrick Adams, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kwame Brathwaite, Nick Cave, Barkley Hendricks, Arthur Jafa, Titus Kaphar, Esther Mahlangu, Meleko Mokgosi, Odili Donald Odita, Toyin Ojih Odutola, Gordon Parks, Ebony G. Patterson, Deborah Roberts, Jamel Shabazz, Amy Sherald, Mickalene Thomas, and Kehinde Wiley,” VMFA says on its website.
The exhibition, which will be on display Nov. 22 through March 1, is organized by the Brooklyn Museum.
