Ice T appears to be trying to use artificial intelligence for laughs—and maybe even some good.

On Thursday, the rapper and actor took to X to share an AI-generated image of himself, Ice Cube, Ice Spice, and Vanilla Ice on an ice skating rink.

“Ok… Ai got us…. The ICE’s,” he wrote, joking about the one thing all four artists share: Ice in their names.

Fans quickly chimed in. Some pointed out that the AI version of Ice Spice looked nothing like the rapper, while others unfortunately edited the group into Immigration and Customs Enforcement-themed imagery.

While T, Spice, and Vanilla haven’t spoken about AI publicly, Ice Cube has made his stance very clear. The West Coast legend has repeatedly voiced his disapproval of AI-generated music, saying he’ll take legal action against anyone who uses AI to create a song with his likeness.

“I don’t wanna hear an AI Drake song,” he told the Full Send podcast. “Yeah, I don’t wanna hear that bullshit. He should sue whoever made it.”

Cube added that he’d do the same if someone created AI-generated music using his voice or persona. “I’mma sue the muthafucka who made it and the people and the platform who play it. It’s like a sample… Somebody can’t take your original voice and manipulate it without having to pay. I think A.I. is demonic, [and] I think A.I. is going to get a backlash from organic people.”
