COLLINSVILLE, Ill. — Parts of Collinsville are under a boil order due a water main break.
Saturday night at around 9 p.m., the City of Collinsville issued the boil order and said it was in effect until further notice.
The order affects all customers at these locations: Carter Lane, Deer Trail Drive, Doe Run Trail, Marby Drive, Harvest Point, Honey Lane, Meadowlark Court, Peggy Sue Court, Sugar Lane, Sugar Loaf Road, Sugarhill Drive, Summer Tree Lane, Timberwood Lane, Twin Oak, Wild Ridge Court, Willow Trail, and Wrenwood Court.
The boil order is in effect for these locations as well:
“Water which will be used for drinking and/or cooking purposes should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least five minutes before use. Also, please turn off ice maker and discard any ice produced,” the City said on social media.
