The Michigan Wolverines are going to need everyone to be at their very best on Saturday against Ohio State, and that includes guys that are dealing with injuries. Players like Rod Moore, Jordan Marshall, Hogan Hansen, Max Bredeson and others have been banged up, with the latter leaving the Maryland game midway through this past Saturday in College Park.
As it pertains to Bredeson, specifically, head coach Sherrone Moore said after the Maryland game that things “didn’t look good” and they would know more about the injury once they got back in Ann Arbor. Now that they’re back in town and have more information, it appears he injury isn’t as bad as the Wolverines initially feared.
“Max — X-rays, we’ll see,” Moore said. “Didn’t look great, but if anybody can push through it, it’s Max Bredeson. We’ll know more as we go through the week.”
The fact Bredeson even has a chance to play after being seen on crutches last weekend at Maryland is great news.
When asked about safety Rod Moore, Sherrone Moore said that he will not play against Ohio State and that he is most likely out for the remainder of the season.
It’s a bummer the Ohio native will miss this edition of The Game, but we’ll always have the memory of him picking off Kyle McCord to seal the victory in 2023.
Michigan vs Ohio State is set for 12:14 p.m. on FOX.
