Fox News interrupted its regular programming for a breaking news alert when First Lady Melania Trump officially ushered in the holiday season by welcoming this year’s White House Christmas tree.

The concolor fir, hailing from Korson’s Tree Farms in Michigan, made its grand entrance in a green horse-drawn carriage led by two Clydesdales. “It’s a beautiful tree,” she commented to the press on Monday, November 24. Dressed in a cream overcoat and dark red gloves, the First Lady circled the carriage, posing for pictures and exchanging pleasantries with the handlers.

This event occurred just hours after her husband, President Donald Trump, raised new health concerns when he was seen limping and dragging his leg during a family gathering at the White House.

The 79-year-old president seemed unsteady on his feet while enjoying some quality time with his nine-year-old grandson, Theodore Kushner, over the weekend. The pair, dressed in suits, were caught on camera strolling through the White House Presidential Walk of Fame, tossing an NFL football back and forth.

The president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, 44, posted several photos of the family outing on Instagram, despite recently dealing with her own undisclosed injury that resulted in a concerning X-ray reveal.

However, social media users were more preoccupied with the president’s condition, as footage – viewed nearly a million times on X – showed him seemingly dragging one leg and struggling to walk in a straight line, reports the Express.

“Trump’s walk would demand a breathalyzer under other circumstances,” one X user quipped. “I always walk like that…when I’m drunk,” another chimed in. The president seemed to be leaning on his left side in the video, sparking rumors about his health.

Just last month, Trump revealed he had an MRI scan during a recent trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. “I did. I got an MRI. It was perfect,” the president shared with reporters aboard Air Force One en route to a week-long journey in Asia.

Trump, who at 79 is one of the oldest presidents in US history, didn’t disclose why he underwent the scan, which can be used to detect a variety of conditions. The scan occurred during Trump’s visit to Walter Reed earlier this month, where his doctor declared him in “exceptional health.”

“The doctor said it was some of the best reports, for the age, they’ve ever seen,” Trump stated. Presidential physician Dr Sean Barbabella issued a statement then, saying that Trump’s appointment was a “scheduled follow-up evaluation as part of his ongoing health maintenance plan and included advanced imaging, laboratory testing, and preventative health assessments.”
