Smart rings are gaining popularity, offering the benefits of tracking sleep and health vitals discreetly without the bulk of a smartwatch. Our favorite option out there is the Oura Ring 4, and it’s getting an excellent discount for Black Friday.
Currently, the best Oura Ring 4 Black Friday deal offers $100 off basic silver and black rings, and $150 off the gold and rose gold styles at Amazon, which are the lowest prices to date. Our fitness expert recommends the Oura Ring 4 as the best smart ring in our buying guide. In our testing, it had the longest battery life and the most reliable and consistent tracking data. It can also provide unique insights into stress levels that other wearable devices don’t. We also love the Oura mobile app, which utilizes the ring’s data to provide daily insights.
In addition to the Oura Ring, we’ve rounded up the best Black Friday fitness tracker deals across brands, with more traditional wearables that are better suited for exercise. And for savings on other types of products, check out our Black Friday coverage that includes roundups of discounts on tech, style, home, kitchen, and more.
The best Oura Ring deals
The Oura Ring is one of the most well-respected of the original smart ring brands and a great option for fitness fans who want to avoid bulky smartwatches. We particularly like it as an unobtrusive option for sleep tracking.
Oura Ring Black Friday deal FAQsHow does the sizing for a smart ring work?
Oura has a ring sizing kit with several plastic rings for you to try on. You can try the sizing kit at a store like Best Buy or have it shipped to you from Amazon. You’ll then receive a credit for the cost of the kit, which can be use toward your ring once you’ve chosen a size. Doing this means you might miss the deal, so we recommend making your most educated guess to start using this virtual sizing guide.
Can I use a smart ring to track running?
The Oura Ring 4 (and Gen 3) will automatically track activity. Once the ring syncs to the app, it will ask you to confirm the type of activity you did. We’ve found this to be surprisingly accurate as well. Similarly, if you do need to manually select the type of activity, the Oura app does a great job of sensing it again in the future. You can learn more in our full Oura Ring 4 review.
How do I charge a smart ring?
The battery life of a smart ring will vary depending on your level of activity. Typically, it will last five to seven days. Oura’s smart rings come with a charging base that plugs into a power adapter with a USB-C cable. Be aware that the chargers are also sized to fit your ring size. A smaller ring won’t fit on a charger for a larger-sized ring.
