With the Hawkeyes built to excel in inclement weather, my Iowa vs. Nebraska predictions expect the visitors to prevail on Black Friday.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are built to play in lousy weather, and the expected mix of snow, sleet, and rain is as awful as it gets.
The Hawkeyes thrive in low-scoring, trench-heavy games, and this matchup and the horrible weather set Iowa up perfectly to win this game by a comfortable margin.
Iowa owns clear advantages in run defense, allowing just 101.6 rushing yards per game and 3.21 yards per carry, and its stout rushing offense should find success against a Nebraska front giving up 167.5 rushing yards per game.
With the foul weather limiting Nebraska’s sometimes explosive passing plays, the Cornhuskers’ already-thin receiving corps and backup freshman quarterback TJ Lateef face an uphill battle moving the ball through the air.
Iowa should control the trenches, and its ability to control field position makes the Hawkeyes the more reliable side.
