The 2025 WNBA season might be over, but the chemistry and playful banter among the players are definitely not. With everyone scattered and busy, they are not getting to see each other the way they used to. That distance has resulted in some very entertaining flirt energy, especially from Courtney Williams.
During the latest episode of “Fudd Around And Find Out,” co-hosts Azzi Fudd and Ashanti Plummer welcomed Gabby Williams onto the show. While reading fan questions, Plummer read out one from Courtney, who was clearly taking a lighthearted shot at Gabby and missing her presence a little too much.
“Courtney Williams asked one and I think that should be the first question ‘Gabby, why you so far girl?’” Plummer read.
Gabby was not quite matching the romantic drama, leaving everyone in splits with her response. She definitely did not seem to be as emotional about the distance as Courtney.
“Courtney, when are you going to leave me alone? God, I’m so sick of it. Leave me alone,” Gabby replied.
Courtney Williams has always loved to joke around with her peers. Her playful flirting with Gabby Williams is nothing new, despite rumors suggesting that Gabby is romantically linked with Marine Johannes.
Courtney Williams flirted with Gabby Williams during the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend
The Stud Budz duo of Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman live-streamed the entire 2025 WNBA All-Star event. During the orange carpet segment, they ran into Gabby Williams, and Courtney immediately complimented her outfit.
As the conversation progressed, the incident escalated with Courtney playfully flirting. She told Gabby that if things didn’t work out with her rumored girlfriend, Gabby should reach out.
“If it don’t work out, call me fine s***,” Williams said.
Of course, there is no real romance between Gabby and Courtney, with the latter’s remark being made as a joke. However, the harmless comment added a bit more fuel to the ongoing rumors linking Gabby romantically with New York Liberty teammate and fellow French national Marine Johannes.
Neither Gabby Williams nor Marine Johannes has spoken about their relationship publicly. However, a few playful mix-ups from other players and even a mid-game announcer casually referring to Johannes as Gabby’s “long-time partner” have led fans to be certain that they might be or once were in a relationship.
