Man dies after early Sunday shooting in Fairfield

WELL TRAINED SOME OF THOSE DOGS ARE FOR SURE. THIS MORNING, IF YOU’RE TRYING TO WALK THE DOG MAN, IT’S GOING TO BE A WET WALK FOR SOME FOLKS. WE’VE GOT TEMPERATURES THAT ARE IN THE 40S AND 50S, SO A COLD RAIN FALLING ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTH ALABAMA THAT’S GOING TO KEEP INCREASING IN COVERAGE OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. AND YOU CAN SEE THAT STEADIER RAIN FALLING IN MISSISSIPPI THAT’S SPREADING INTO ALABAMA. NOW THIS IS ALL PART OF A BIGGER WEATHER SYSTEM BRINGING LOTS OF HEAVY SNOW TO OUR NORTH. WE’RE ON THE WARMER SIDE OF THE SYSTEM, SO WE DON’T HAVE ANY THREAT OF WINTRY WEATHER, BUT A COLD RAIN STAYS IN THE FORECAST, NOT JUST TODAY, BUT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS WELL. BUT I WANTED TO BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU HOUR BY HOUR. HERE’S OUR FIRST WARNING FUTURE TRACK LOOKING TOWARDS 8 A.M. CHECK OUT THOSE TEMPERATURES STILL IN THE 40S IN A LOT OF LOCATIONS. A STEADY RAIN FALLING BY LUNCHTIME, STILL DODGING THOSE RAIN SHOWERS WITH TEMPERATURES IN A FEW COMMUNITIES REACHING INTO THE LOW 50S, BUT ALL OF US REALLY STAYING BELOW AVERAGE ALL DAY LONG BY 3:00. JUST KIND OF MISTY, DRIZZLY AND DAMP. AND WE WILL JUST KEEP A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THE EVENING. BUT WE’RE NOT DONE WITH THE RAIN JUST YET. WE’VE ACTUALLY GOT A FEW MORE ROUNDS OF RAIN POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. TOMORROW SHOULD START MAINLY DRY, SO AS THE KIDS ARE HEADED BACK TO SCHOOL, YOU’RE GETTING BACK INTO THAT ROUTINE. IT’S GOING TO BE COLD AT THE BUS STOP. WE’VE GOT TEMPERATURES NEAR OR BELOW THE FREEZING MARK, BUT YOU ALSO WANT TO HAVE THAT RAIN GEAR WITH YOU BECAUSE WE DO SEE AN INCREASE IN COVERAGE OF SHOWERS THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW, LASTING INTO TOMORROW EVENING, AND THEN EVEN SOME RAIN POSSIBLE ON TUESDAY. IT IS WORTH NOTING THERE IS A LOW RISK THAT WE COULD HAVE SOME NUISANCE FLOODING SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM IN THIS GREEN REGION HERE. THAT’S A MARGINAL RISK FOR FLOODING. THIS IS NOT A SEVERE THREAT. THE AIR IS STABLE AND COOL, BUT HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE AT TIMES. MUCH NEEDED RAIN, BUT COMING IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. AND SO THAT’S WHAT COULD LEAD TO SOME OF THAT FLOODING CONCERNS. SO EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, 6 A.M., AS KIDS ARE HEADED TO SCHOOL, WE DO HAVE TEMPERATURES THAT ARE CHILLY. WATCH WHAT HAPPENS THOUGH. LUNCHTIME. WE’RE ALREADY STARTING TO SEE THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME LIGHT RAIN ARRIVING IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA. THAT INCREASES IN COVERAGE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON MONDAY, AND THEN WE DO HAVE HEAVIER RAIN POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. SO GOOD SLEEPING WEATHER HERE, RIGHT? YOU MIGHT BE SLEEPING TO THE SOUND OF RAINDROPS ON THE ROOF AS WE GET THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WE START THE DAY WET. RAINFALL TOTALS COULD BE ANYWHERE FROM 1 TO 2IN OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. AND THEN WE’VE GOT EVEN ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN POS
