The 30-year-old Norrie, who met Jacobi at the 2019 US Open shortly after his 24th birthday, shared the joyous news on Instagram.

“A special moment on our trip in South Africa,” Norrie posted alongside a picture of Jacobi kissing him. “Cheers to a beautiful life together with my best friend (Note: real engagement ring to come).”

It’s been a solid second half of the season for Norrie, who started the season suffering first round defeats in six of his first 10 tournaments.

Norrie turned his season around reaching the Geneva semifinals on red clay then burst into the Wimbledon quarterfinals bowing to Carlos Alcaraz. Norrie upset Alcaraz at the Rolex Paris Masters last month then wrapped up his 2025 season reaching the Metz final losing to American Learner Tien in a third-set tiebreaker.

The second-half season surged spiked Norrie’s ranking back up to No. 27 putting him in position for an Australian Open seeding a shot to rise higher following his 2025 first-round Melbourne defeat to Matteo Berrettini.
