The season opened on a high note with a hometown hero: Montclair PAL alum and WNBA standout Myisha Hines-Allen of the Dallas Wings returned to host her first Girls Basketball Camp. She brought along teammates Ariel Atkins, Aziaha James and Paige Beckers, plus several coaches and volunteers. Montclair PAL athletes spent the day training with four current WNBA players, learning new skills and heading home with gifts from players and sponsors.

Montclair PAL also celebrated a strong early showing from its 7th grade boys team, coached by Zo, which earned second place in the Wayne PAL 2025 Turkey Shootout.
