The town’s branch of Andy’s Man Club opened its doors for the first time on December 2 last year, joining the growing list of groups in Cumbria.
The past 12 months have been a success for those involved, which included being named the Community Group of the Year at the Heart of Ulverston awards.
A spokesperson said: “Over the past 12 months, we’ve supported men through some of their toughest times – and long may that continue.
“We couldn’t celebrate this milestone without the incredible support of Gen2.
“A huge thank you to everyone who attends each week, including our amazing facilitators – without the dedication of these volunteers, the club simply wouldn’t run.”
The club is based at the Gen2 Furness Skills Centre on the Lightburn Industrial Estate and is open to anyone between 7pm and 9pm every Monday.
