The start time of the Blue Cross North Carolina 250 at the Charlotte Roval, on Saturday, Oct. 4, will be 5 p.m. ET. NASCAR previously scheduled the race for 4 p.m. ET.
The race will still air on The CW.
Sunset at Charlotte Motor Speedway is set for 7 p.m. ET that day. However, the Roval has lights so the race could run at night. In fact, the 2020 race ended at night due to a deluge of rain that fell throughout the day.
The Xfinity Series also has rain tires available to use in case they see a repeat of 2020.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will also race at the Charlotte Roval this year. It is set to be the first time all three NASCAR national series have raced at the Roval since it first came on the schedule in 2018.
