EDWARD, YOU FIND OUT THAT SOMEBODY WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AS WELL. >> YES, MOMENTS WHEN WE ARRIVED, FORT MYERS FIRE DISTRICT TELLS US THAT THERE WAS 3 PEOPLE INSIDE THE HOME WHEN THE FIRE OCCURRED. ONE OF THEM WAS TAKEN BY EMS AWAY FROM THE SCENE. >> BUT THE LARGER NUMBERS HERE AT THE AMOUNT OF SIGNIFICANT ANIMALS INSIDE THAT WERE FOUND DEAD INSIDE THE HOME. YOU CAN SEE THE HOME BEHIND ME AS WE LOOK AT THE BURNS ROOF, THE WALLS HERE AS WELL. THE FAMILY WAITING WITH THE ONE DOG THAT SURVIVED NORTH FORT MYERS FIRE SAYS 4 DOGS WERE INSIDE THE HOUSE, BUT 3 DIED. UNFORTUNATELY, AS WELL AS 14 CATS AND MULTIPLE BIRDS FOUND DEAD INSIDE OF THE HOME BECAUSE OF THE FIRE. THEY SAY THAT RED CROSS HAS ALSO BEEN CALLED TO HELP THE FAMILY. RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN SEE THE FIRE DISTRICT IS STILL HERE. According to the North Fort Myers Fire Control District, there were three people inside the home, and one person had to be transported to the hospital.
