Veronica Burton helped the USA Women’s Basketball team to a gold medal at the 2025 FIBA 3X3 AmeriCup tournament in Mexico. Burton led Team USA in scoring in two of the knockout rounds, scoring 10 points against Argentina and seven points against the Dominican Republic on the same day, propelling them to the championship game. Burton was also named to the USA Women’s Basketball’s 5×5 National Team training camp roster alongside marquee stars such as Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.
