Patrons were shocked when a wandering seal flopped its way into a bar.
According to a Facebook post, the bizarre incident occurred at the Sprig + Fern The Meadows craft beer bar in Richmond on New Zealand’s South Island on Nov. 30.
“Everyone was in shock,” co-owner Bella Evans told the Associated Press. “Oh my gosh. What do we do? What’s going on?”

Video posted by the bar showed the creature galumphing around the space while being chased by employees as the “Mission Impossible” theme plays.
It eventually dashed into a restroom and then hid under the dishwasher before it could be safely caught.
Evans said staff lured the unusual visitor out of its hiding place using a pizza topping the pub was offering as a special.
“I just went to my fiancé, I said, grab the salmon! Grab the salmon!” she said.
The Department of Conservation shortly after and safely picked up the pup to return it to the wild.
There are estimated to be over 200,000 fur seals in New Zealand, with numbers growing thanks to federal protections.
