UTICA, N.Y. — Visitor restrictions have been implemented at the Maternal Child units of Wynn Hospital to safeguard patients and staff from flu, COVID, RSV and other illnesses.

According to the hospital, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will allow parents, grandparents or designated support persons, and siblings over 13 who are healthy.

Labor and Delivery will welcome only healthy parents and grandparents or designated support persons.

The Mother Baby Unit will follow similar guidelines as the NICU, while Pediatrics will allow healthy parents, grandparents or designated support persons, and siblings.

Visitors feeling unwell are urged to stay home to ensure the safety of patients and themselves.
