Tommy: I agree with Mickey that you’d want both, but at the same time some players are wired in the way that you’re lining it up to where they’re better at one or the other. I’ll always want a better pass blocker, especially in today’s NFL and with this Cowboys offense. When you throw it as much as they do, Dak Prescott needs the time to get the ball to his star players down the field and at times this year, he hasn’t been able to. I think it’s a lot easier to bring a great pass protector along to run block, than the inverse. And yes, with the struggles they’ve had on both sides of the line thus far, I think it’s fair to ask the question of whether or not it’s becoming a position of need following the season. I think that Dallas can get by, especially if Tyler Guyton can continue to improve like he has this year, but certainly is something worth watching.
