SPOKANE, Wash – Golfers will likely have to shell out a few more bucks to play at Spokane courses next season.

Spokane County Commissioners voted this week to raise fees at county courses. A proposal to raise fees at city courses is moving through committees right now.

A round of 18 holes in Spokane County will go from $48 to $52. An adult season pass goes from $2,400 to $2,800. You can see the new rates listed here.

Spokane County estimates this will help boost the Golf Fund to cover expenses and improvements, while also beefing up the golf reserve fund.

The City of Spokane is considering raising rates by $5 per round. Golfers would also pay more for pre-booked rounds, with the cost going from $56 to $80.

The proposal says “fee increases are needed in order to provide a balanced budget for 2026”, citing the rising costs of operation, utilities, water and tree care and building maintenance, along with sustaining the capital budget.

The city believes raising the fees would generate a $994,984 revenue increase.

That proposal now goes to the full park board.
